The Essence
We plant it early.
The student believes in the idea.
Learning to choose and own the result.
Achievement doesn’t happen alone.
8,000
entrepreneurial ideas from public school students.
In Meqdam, we don’t wait for students to grow up to discover what they can do; we give boys aged 14 to 16 in public schools a real entrepreneurial experience from inside their school.
We start by training teachers in the program’s methodology and mentoring tools, then hand over to the students, who work in teams to spot challenges in their schools and communities and come up with practical ideas to tackle them. Along the way, each student learns to develop an idea, work in a team, make decisions, present a project with confidence and defend it in front of others.
The ideas then move through evaluation stages, from the school to the directorate and up to the national level.
Here we don’t just test the idea… we build the student who stands behind it.
