Why Warshetna?

In Warshetna, we took vocational education a step beyond the skill learned in the workshop, so it became a door to a real project.

We started by training teachers and students together in the basics of building and running a project: from choosing the idea and understanding the market, to production, marketing and working out cost and profit. Then students worked in teams, supervised by their teachers, on productive projects linked to their vocational fields, such as carpentry, metalwork and agriculture.

Through the experience, students learned not only how to make things, but how to manage what they make, market it, make their own decisions and see the results of their work in real life.

From a skill… to an opportunity.

In Warshetna, the experience did not stop at one project or one school year.

At the end of the school year, profits were shared among the students, teachers and principals, with part set aside to improve the school environment, while the original capital was carried over to the next year for new students to start a new project.

This way, the opportunity passed from one group to the next, and the experience continued year after year, benefiting new students each time.

Warshetna

Capital that carries on… and an opportunity that renews.
