A small dream factory… turning ideas into real experiences and projects.
More than 20,000 schoolgirls experienced entrepreneurship through 650 projects.
The Essence
We learn by doing.
We start early.
A real project is the best teacher.
Decisions and results are in the participants’ hands.
20,000
schoolgirls built skills in financial management, marketing, planning, production and communication.
Imagine building a company at fifteen, learning entrepreneurship by doing, seeing life differently… and tasting profit for the first time.
That is where Sherketna came from: a hands-on experience that took schoolgirls from the idea to planning, then to producing and selling at real school bazaars. We gave them seed funding (200 dinars as company capital) to launch their projects, then supported them in understanding the market, pricing, dealing with customers and making decisions.
The impact did not stop at the project: the girls put part of their profits into improving their schools’ facilities, turning success from a personal gain into an impact on the whole school.
In Sherketna… the experience was not just a small project, but a chance to learn how an idea becomes value.
How It Works
The girls choose their project idea and plan it.
Seed funding of 200 dinars as company capital.
Real production and sales at school bazaars, with support in understanding the market, pricing and dealing with customers.
Part of the profits goes to the girls, and part to improving school facilities.
